Brene Brown Speaks to Me

I watched this video on Tuesday http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_listening_to_shame.html. In the first four minutes of her talk, Brene Brown tells a story about how she was working so hard to get her work out, but also working hard to stay small. When I heard those words, I said “That’s what I’ve been doing.”

The very next day, an associate producer from a daytime talk show contacted me through the blog to see if we’d be willing to share our home and money-saving tips with them. National TV!? Us? Yikes. I still wasn’t sure being so public was for me, but then I remembered Brene’s talk. I have worked to share our story, so we can help others. Why shouldn’t we go big?

So, we are gonna do it. The camera crews will be pulling up any minute. Deep breath.

Simply,
Hari
